Location

The Marine State Park of Parcel Manuel Luis is located in the Atlantic Ocean, 45 nautical miles from the coast of Maranhao and about 100 nautical miles from Sao Luis, the state capital.Formally it linked to the city of Cururupu. It was created by Decree 11902 of June 11, 1991, with an area of ​​45,937.9 hectares, in order to preserve the fauna and marine flora and coral reefs.
